This course is customized for civilian first responders and reviews combat care provided during all phases of tactical operations - While under fire, following suppression of a threat, and during casualty evacuation.
The 16-hour course will include both didactic and hands-on training over a two-day period. Topics will include, but are not limited to:
MARCH assessment
Hemorrhage control
Airway control
Rapid patient care in a tactical or unstable environment
C-TECC establishes guidelines for the provision of prehospital care to injured patients during a tactical incident. C-TECC neither creates curriculum for the prehospital provider, nor does it endorse the curriculum of other organizations.
